The bulletproof glass produced by our factory features a core structure composed of multiple layers of tempered glass laminated with PVB bullet-resistant film. It is not made from a single type of glass material. Its protective performance primarily depends on the number of glass layers, the thickness of the film, and the quality of the substrate materials.
During production, high-quality float glass sheets are first subjected to high-temperature tempering to enhance their impact resistance. Then, multiple layers of tempered glass are alternately laminated with high-performance PVB bulletproof film and subsequently placed into an autoclave. Under high temperature and high-pressure conditions, the assembly is pressed to ensure perfect adhesion between the film and the glass, leaving no air bubbles or delamination.
Bullet-resistant levels range from B3 to B7, with each level corresponding to a different number and thickness of glass layers: The B3 level uses a composite of 3–4 layers of tempered glass, capable of withstanding impacts from blunt objects such as clubs and stones.
The B7-grade product features a composite structure made of 8 to 10 layers of tempered glass, capable of withstanding continuous gunfire from a handgun without being penetrated. All bulletproof glass must undergo testing by relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security and come with a formal bulletproof certification report. The light transmittance is maintained at above 75%, ensuring unobstructed visibility. During installation, it must be paired with specialized bulletproof hardware components to ensure overall stability and prevent improper installation from compromising the protective performance.
