The core requirement for anti-glare glass is to reduce light reflection. Our factory uses an AG chemical etching process to produce such glass. Compared to physical frosting, chemical etching delivers a more uniform anti-glare effect without compromising the glass’s optical clarity and transparency.

During production, we first select either ultra-white glass or ordinary float glass as the substrate. The glass is then immersed in a specialized etching solution, and by precisely controlling the etching time and temperature, we gently corrode the glass surface to create a uniform, micrometer-scale roughness. This roughness causes incident light to undergo diffuse reflection, thereby reducing the reflectance and achieving an anti-glare effect.

Our anti-glare glass features a light reflectance of ≤2% and a light transmittance of ≥88%. It not only eliminates the problem of dazzling glare but also ensures clear visibility of images and exhibits.

The surface can undergo additional hardening treatment to enhance scratch resistance, achieving a hardness of 6H. It is suitable for applications such as exhibition display cases, office partitions, and LCD screen protection. The substrate can be upgraded to tempered glass upon request to further improve impact resistance.

During processing, the concentration of the etching solution and the etching time must be strictly controlled to prevent defects such as uneven surface corrosion and reduced light transmittance. Each product will undergo testing for reflectivity and light transmittance to ensure compliance with standards.
