 Insulated glass (18)

Construction strictly adheres to the two-layer sealing standard: the first layer uses butyl sealant as an airtight barrier to continuously and seamlessly block moisture; the second layer employs structural adhesive or polysulfide sealant as the structural layer, ensuring adequate bond strength to prevent delamination.

Prior to sealant application, the glass and aluminum spacers must be thoroughly cleaned to remove all oil, grease, and dust. Sealant bead width and thickness shall comply with relevant specifications, and any instances of sealant leakage or discontinuity must be strictly prevented. The aluminum spacers must be filled with molecular sieve desiccant to ensure long-term moisture resistance and condensation prevention.

Only when the sealant is fully and evenly applied, free of air bubbles and discontinuities, and left undisturbed during the curing period, can it truly achieve a tight seal, effective water and sound insulation, and extended service life for the glass.
