As a specialized glass base focused on customized solutions for specific applications, we at Haibo Special Glass fully understand that sightseeing elevators have extremely high requirements for the precision of glass curvature and safety performance.
For this sightseeing elevator’s curved steel glass, we employ a CNC-controlled thermal bending integrated molding process, with arc deviation strictly controlled within ≤0.5mm. This ensures a perfect fit to the elevator car’s curvature, delivering a 360° panoramic and crystal-clear view.
The substrate is made of ultra-white tempered glass with a light transmittance of ≥92%, ensuring that visitors can enjoy unobstructed, distortion-free views from above. It’s laminated with a high-performance 1.52mm PVB film, boosting impact resistance by a factor of five—so even if the glass breaks, it won’t shatter into flying fragments or fall down.
For high-rise elevator applications, we’ve additionally implemented enhanced wind-pressure resistance, capable of withstanding wind pressures of ≥3.5 kPa, making it suitable for buildings of varying heights.
Factory-direct supply allows for custom curvature and dimensions upon request. Each glass sheet undergoes homogenization treatment to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakage. It comes with 3C certification and a factory inspection report, ensuring quality is fully controlled throughout the entire process.
