The hazy texture of oil sand glass does increase cleaning difficulty, but this doesn't mean it's difficult to care for. The key is in the cleaning method and daily maintenance.
Why is oil sand glass more difficult to clean than ordinary glass?
1. High surface roughness:
- The frosted or engraved texture of oil sand glass easily traps dirt; dust, fingerprints, and water stains will be more noticeable than on smooth glass.
2. Oil stains are more noticeable:
- Especially in kitchens and bathrooms, oil, and soap foam easily linger on the uneven surface of the glass, affecting its appearance.
3. Strong cleaning agents cannot be used arbitrarily:
- Some strong acid and alkali cleaning agents may damage the oil sand layer, making the glass surface uneven or causing color differences.
How to properly clean oil sand glass?
